What is the difference between topdressing and lawn leveling?
Topdressing applies a thin layer of material to improve the turf and soil. Lawn leveling uses carefully placed material to reduce low spots and create a smoother surface. Many lawns benefit from both approaches in the same plan.
When should Bermuda and Zoysia lawns be topdressed?
Warm-season grasses are generally best topdressed while actively growing. That gives the turf time to recover and grow through the applied material. Exact timing depends on lawn health, weather, and the amount of correction needed.
Do you renovate and topdress Fescue lawns in fall?
Yes. Fall is the primary season for Fescue renovation and overseeding in North Georgia. Depending on the lawn, we may recommend core aeration, premium seed, compost topdressing, and targeted soil preparation to improve establishment.
Do you inspect drainage before recommending a solution?
Yes. We evaluate slope, soil, runoff paths, discharge options, low areas, and the source of the water before recommending drainage or grading work.
